Dr. Simboli has maintained a private practice as a clinical psychologist for 18 years and has practiced as a school psychologist for 19 years. Prior to his work at the award winning Pearl River School District, he worked as a psychologist at Manhattan Psychiatric Hospital, NYC, a large urban facility with a well respected APA approved clinical training program.

Dr. Simboli supervises doctoral students in psychotherapy practicum at the Pace University Clinic, NYC. He supervises school psychology graduate student interns from Fordham and Long Island University and has taught graduate level courses at L.I.U. and Iona College.

He was a recipient of the Mentors Award for clinical preceptors from the Long Island University - School Psychology program for supervision of graduate students.

Dr. Simboli has been listed in Strathmore's Who's Who.

A specialist examiner for the Office of Disability Determinations in New York State, he has consulted with agencies, law firms, and the PBA Counseling Unit of the N.Y. City Police Department.

Dr. Simboli is a frequent guest on major television news and news-magazine programs including ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, and Fox News. He has been interviewed by renowned anchors and reporters.

Private offices in Grandview, N.Y. and Greenwich Village, NYC are available for sessions.

Dr. Simboli has specialization in psycho-diagnostics and in dynamic psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, identity issues, personality disorders and post-traumatic stress. He also works with executives, professionals and those in the fine and performing arts in growth-oriented counseling.

When not counseling, teaching or supervising, his time is spent with friends and his pets. He is an avid sailor, motorcyclist, and vintage scooter afficianado. He enjoys progressive music, film and the performing arts, and supports friends' in these fields.
